Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Shane Wolf is one of the few contemporary masters of figural drawing and painting. After completing a bachelor's degree in graphic design from the University of Cincinnati, Shane was hired by the French ski company Salomon in Annecy, France, as a graphic designer.
Shane works uniquely from the live model and his imagination to create works that seek to honour Humanist values such as they were pursued during the Italian Renaissance, namely that of glorifying the strength and beauty of human form. Through his mastery of classical realist drawing and painting, Wolf has cultivated a proficiency in fine art of the highest calibre and poetic skill.
