
Aaron M. Brown was born in Wichita, KS on April 4, 1964. His parents are both artists. He received his BFA from the University of Kansas, and his MFA from Syracuse University, graduating summa cum laude from both institutions and earning a coveted University Fellowship from SU. He has received many awards over the years, including prestigious grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and the Franz and Virginia Bader Fund. He has participated in group and solo exhibitions internationally. His work has been featured in publications such as New American Paintings and Harper’s magazine, and is included in numerous private and public collections.
