Born in 1975 at Sivasagar, Assam, Wahida Ahmed puts an effort to bring the myriad of colours and words together through her paintings and poetic works. There is a beautiful correlation between her paintings and poetry, which highlights the various truths of life and society. The silence of Wahida Ahmed’s inner world speaks volumes, the vibrant use of colour and innovative brushstrokes and lines conjure up some sensitive, meaningful figures.
