Adolfo Guiard (Bilbao, April 10, 1860 - March 8, 1916) was a Spanish painter. In his eagerness to paint outdoors, close to nature, he settled in Baquio, a small town very close to Bilbao. Painting outdoors, the landscape became secondary in his work as he gave special importance to the human figures who lived and worked in the fields. Its range of green, so intense in the surrounding countryside, it is becoming more strongly in blue and grey, which eventually give definite character to his work.
