Julius Jacob (Berlin, April 25, 1811 - Berlin, October 20, 1882) was a German painter of the nineteenth century. He was awarded the gold medal for art academies in Paris, Lyon and Rouen, and became an honorary member of several European academies. Between 1844 and 1855 he lived in London. Subsequently visited Vienna, where he painted portraits of various personalities of the nobility, who include the Kinsky Count Metternich or princes, Schwarzenberg, Liechtenstein and Lobkowitz.
