Carlo Russo (born 1976) is based in Philadelphia, where he maintains his studio and teaches oil painting. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (2004) where he won several awards for his work. He was also a fellow at the Hudson River School for Landscape in 2008. He has exhibited his paintings in Philadelphia, principally at the F.A.N. Gallery, where he has done five solo exhibitions. He also exhibits regularly at the Anderson Gallery in St. Simons Island , GA and has shown his work in galleries in NYC, Long Island NY, Laguna Beach, CA and Santa Fe, New Mexico. While known mainly for his still life paintings he works in the figurative and landscape genres also. His paintings appear in private collections in the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.
